Just Cause 4 How to Use Air Lifter Guide
Our favorite thing about Just Cause 4 is the ability to modify your grappling hook to your heart’s content. The grappling hook has tons of mods that open a lot of doors for you. No, really, you can open actual doors with them. Of all of the grappling hook mods available, however, we are partial to the Air Lifter.
Just Cause 4 Air Lifter
The Air Lifter is the first mod you will obtain for your grappling hook in Just Cause 4 during the mission Behind the Lines. You can read our Behind the Lines Walkthrough here.
To use the Air Liften, open your Grappling Hook menu and equip the Air Lifter mod as seen above. How you equip the Air Lifter is really a matter of preference.
Each use of the air lifter attaches an inflatable bubble by way of a tow cable to whatever item you activate it on. Some things are heavier than others, but any item in the game that can move can be manipulated by Air Lifter bubbles. Everything from crates to boats can be lifted into the air with this awesome mod.
You can modify five elements of the Air Lifter with different mods. This gives you a ton of options, including designing the Air Lifter to pick up a hostile and drop them, or leave an item hanging in mid-air.
How to use the Air Lifter – Just Cause 4 Pro Tips
Using the Air Lifter is easy: just point at your target and activate your grappling hook button with the Air Lifter selected. Pressing the button will fire the air lifter and releasing the button will release the balloon. You can do this in quick succession to add multiple ballons to a single target
There are a lot of interesting ways you can use the Air Lifter:
- Lift a hostile vehicle into the air and let the wind blow it away
- Lift a hostile vehicle in the air until the balloon explodes, dropping the vehicle
- Move large items blocking your path
- Turn your tank into a floating gunship
