The Top 10 Best WWE 2K19 CAWs
It’s that special time of year for wrestling fans that double as gaming nerds: WWE 2K19 is here. And as much as everyone loves the game modes and action, one of the best parts of these games is seeing what Create-A-Wrestler (CAW) downloads are available. The CAW community has some very talented people that put together these renders, and it shows.
CAWs include WWE wrestlers that didn’t make the game, indy stars that aren’t under contract, legends who are gone but not forgotten, and even hilarious mash-ups and joke creations. The only downside is that CAWs can’t be used across platforms, so the CAWs available to Xbox are different from those on PS4. Thankfully, each community has talented CAW creators that seem to build these renders more than they actually play the game. In the spirit of this release, Nerds and Scoundrels has come up with our Top 10 Best WWE 2K19 CAWs.

10. WALTER

Our Top 10 starts with one of my favorite wrestlers not under contract with the WWE, WALTER. This CAW is pretty spot on; it is definitely the best WALTER currently available. Extra thumbs up to the creator as this is his first attempt!
9. American Alpha 2.0

Ah, what could have been. These days, Kurt is dressed up as a Conquistador, his “son” Jason Jordan’s career may be over, and Chad Gable is…. honestly I’m not sure what he’s doing. But at one point, American Alpha was the hottest tag team in the WWE. Fantasy bookers always loved the idea of adding Angle to the mix, and with this CAW set you can give it a go in WWE 2K19.
8. Robbie E

One of the early releases for CAW legend RyeeDee, this version of the long-time TNA star is spot on. For now, you can only get it on Playstation 4.
7. Jazz

This is one of my personal favorites, and one of the few good CAWs currently available on PC. I would say that you can use this CAW to re-live the Attitude Era, but Jazz is still out there kicking ass.
6. Jushin “Thunder” Liger

This is another one where the attention to detail really shines through. Given Liger’s longevity, I can only assume we’ll be adding him to WWE 2K40 some day.
5. Tommaso Ciampa – Defract

The first major CAW released for WWE 2K19 that fans really jumped on was Defract’s Tommaso Ciampa. It’s no suprise; Ciampa has generated a lot of interest given the lack of explantion regarding why he was left out of WWE 2K19. Even the wrestling media covered this story.
4. Will Ospreay

The Sky King is ready to fly, whether or not he’s actually under contract to the WWE. This Ospreay CAW lets you take to the skies like only a Sky King should.
3. Pentagon Jr.

Call him Pentagon Jr. Or Pentagon DARK. Or Penta el Zero M. Regardless of what you call him, this Mexican madman is one of the hottest acts outside of the WWE. The CAW nails everything from his mask, his makeup, and his tattoos. All in all, amazing stuff.
2. Young Bucks

Tommaso Ciampa is the only wrestler to make our Top 10 twice, and it’s no surprise given his prominent absence from the game despite being NXT champ at the time of release.
