You Can Have Multiple Ships in Starfield
If you are like me, you’ll be thrilled to learn that you can have multiple ships in Starfield. While having one go-to ship that is extremely customizable is great, some of us are pumped about building our own fleet. The good news is that you don’t have to wait: from the very beginning of the game you have options for buying additional ships and building out your fleet.
Of course, you can only fly one of these bad boys at a time. You can look over your fleet by opening up your inventory and scrolling through your ships, but only one of these options will be active at any time.
Where do I Get Extra Ships?
You can purchase ships in Starfield in a variety of places. Major ports, cities or stations will generally have ships for sale. You will need to find a Ship service technician at these locations who may have some ships for sale. A few ships are faction-exclusive and can only be purchased at that faction’s headquarters. You will be able to find technicians at the launch pad of most major locations.
The technician can do more for you than just sell you a ship. They are also the person to talk to about making major changes or upgrades.
