Kingdom Two Crowns How to get Pikemen Guide
First thing’s first: you can only access pikemen in Kingdom Two Crowns if you are playing the default biome. They are not available in the Shogun biome. If you are playing Shogun, you will instead have access to Ninjas. There is no workaround; these units are locked into their specific biome. If you are playing in the default biome, pikemen can be purchased for two coins.
Kingdom Two Crowns Pikemen
Pikemen are interesting, in that they are a temporary unit. They are designed to help turn the tide of an otherwise unwinnable fight. During their off times, pikemen will wander aimlessly and often hunt for fish. In fact, they are the only unit in the game that will hunt during the winter.
The pikemen’s real value is defending at night, however. Pikemen will station themselves just inside your outermost wall. They will stab enemies as they attack the wall, and all enemies within range will be damaged. However, after 3 or 4 hits the pike will break and the pikemen will revert back into a peasant. What’s more, you can only have a single pikeman on either side of your castle active. Any extra pikemen will simply wait in line and replace the outermost man when their pike breaks.
