Euro Truck Simulator 2: Improve Truck Physics Without Mods

Euro Truck Simulator 2 Improved Physics Guide

First thing’s first, before you get started you will be requried to enable the Developer console in Euro Truck Simulator 2. You can do this by simply navigating to the Config file in your Euro Truck Simulator 2 documents at:

C:\Users\YourPCUserName\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2

Once this step is finished, open the file using NotePad. You will need to change the values highlighted in the image below. The order doesn’t matter.

First, change g_developer from “0” to “1”

Next, change g_console from “0” to “1”

Then save the file and close it.

Updating the Physics In-Game

To take advantage of the updated physics in-game, you’ll need to launch your game and pull up the in-game console. You can do that by simply pressing the ` button to bring up your console.

When the console pops up, enter the following commands one at a time in the order listed below from top to bottom:

g_trailer_stability 0
g_truck_stability 0
g_suspension_stiffness 0
