Where you can find Chilly Creek

Chilly Creek is a location that you can find on the eastern side of the world map, but it’ll only appear after you have progressed through some quests in Act 2. Once you’ve progressed enough you’ll eventually be able to access the location through a quest that takes you there.

What you can do at Chilly Creek

At first glance there isn’t all that much to see in this area, since it’s a location that mostly consists of clearings and trees. There’s a decent amount of things to loot though so keep an eye out for anything that catches your eye as you move through the area. To the north-east there is a small village that you can explore with a small group of villagers that inhabit it. But as you move through the area you may start to tell that things aren’t as they seem.

But the most important thing that you’ll do here is a quest called ‘Cold Waters’. This quest involves you speaking to a Cleric named Jernaugh in Defender’s Heart, the tavern located in Kenabres. This is a really cool quest that will involve you visiting Jernaugh in Chilly Creek as he prepares for a warm welcome. Definitely make sure that you try this quest out and prepare for a big battle with a Hydra.

There’s also another quest that you can undertake called ‘Dark Waves’ which takes place after ‘Cold Waters’. In this quest, Jernaugh has to be saved from the same villagers that he went to defend. Eventually you’ll discover that the area is being controlled by three hags that have forced the villagers to accept a horrible bargain. It’ll be up to you to decide the fate of both the hags and the villagers.
