How to Get Past “No Path to Destination” Problems in Planet Zoo
The frustrating thing about getting this error isn’t that there is no way to fix it. What can be especially irritating is that a suggested fix that works for one person might not be applicable for another. Here are a few suggestions that have worked for us or others in the past.
Unpause the Game
If you have paused the game and are getting this error, one tip that has worked for several users is to unpause. While this is enough for some people, others have reported that unpausing the game and re-selecting the animal for movement will be enough. We suggest trying this first.
Move the Door
For some reason, specific gate locations are a problem. We have seen players suggest moving the gate to a position that makes the path longer get around this issue.
Make Sure You Have Staff
This is less of a bug or error, and more of an easy mistake to make. However, some people get this error when they don’t have any staff. Others have found hiring staff and dropping them near the gate can get animals moving again.
Check Your Path Connections
Sometimes, there is actually a problem with your path. In some cases, it might be as simple as a tiny section of the pathway being deleted. In other cases, users have discovered that the building was turned the wrong direction, breaking the connection with the path.
Delete Your Trade Center
A handful of players have had success with deleting their trade center and placing a new one.
