The Best White Gaming Mouse in 2021 | Reviews + Buyers Guide

In the world of gaming, there is little that is more important than getting the right peripherals. Be it the newest 144Hz gaming monitor or the highest-performing gaming keyboard. But there are a lot of gamers out there that forget about an equally important aspect to gaming, especially in the competitive scene. Every gamer needs a good, high-quality mouse to keep their plays sharp and keep them in the game. Gaming mice come in all shapes and sizes and each offer different functionality for everyone. But while it’s great that there’s so much choice out there, it also kind of makes it difficult. Let’s get right into our list for The Best White Gaming Mouse.

Best White Gaming Mouse Guide

Which is why we’ve put together this list of some of the best gaming mice that you can get right now. Whether you care strictly about performance or if you want something with a little more style, this list is going to have something for you. The best part is that all of these mice are in a cool, crisp white body so that they’ll stand out even more!

VersionTECH. Wired Gaming Mouse

We’re starting this list off with a mouse that isn’t afraid to show off its RGB styling right off the bat. We’ve gone for this VersionTECH mouse for its great visual aesthetic at its reasonable price. This is a gaming mouse that is specifically geared towards RGB enthusiasts, so if you don’t like a colorful mouse this isn’t the choice for you. It comes with 7 different breathing modes that each feature different color combinations. Though a downside is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off the RGB lighting which is a little bit annoying. The grips on either side of the mouse are a dark grey color and they have little grooves to help out with keeping hold of the mouse.

The mouse is around 5.12” x 1.57” x 2.75”, which is a decent size for a mouse and is fairly standard. The cable reaches about 4.9ft or 1.5 meters, which is a pretty decent length for a gaming mouse. Though if you need a longer cable you may want to look elsewhere. Performance-wise, this is a good gaming mouse but it’s only good. It isn’t at the level where you would see professional Esports players using it. That’s simply due to the fact this is a mouse that’s on the cheaper end. But if you’re just starting out with gaming and want a cheap mouse to start off with, this is a great choice. It’s also a good option for a backup mouse but that’s it really. This isn’t really an upgrade in comparison to a lot of other mice already out

Pros:

  • Great Aesthetic
  • Good Size
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • RGB Can’t Turn Off
  • Not for Competitive Play

Redragon M602

Next up we have a mouse that still retains some of that RGB style but mixes that with a much more ergonomic design. We’ve gone for this Redragon gaming mouse high level of performance at an affordable price. Once again we’ve got RGB lighting but it isn’t so overwhelming here. Instead, only being used along the trim of the mouse and the scroll wheel. This more subdued look will probably appeal to those who want a balance between all-out style and simplicity. The sides of the mouse are molded in a way to properly fit your hand as you use it. Though this means that this mouse is only really designed for those who are right-handed, or at least those that use the mouse in their right hand. The sides of the mouse also have a textured panel on either side to help with grip.

In terms of functionality, we’re headed more in the direction of a higher-level gaming mouse. But first, let’s talk about the size, it comes in at 5” x 3.2” x 1.65”. It’s a little wider than some mice but that’s due to the moulded hand grips on the side of the body. Apart from that, this is a decently sized mouse. The cable here is 6ft or 1.8 metres which is a pretty good length for a wired mouse. The real selling point here is the fact that this mouse has 7 buttons on it that you can use. So that’s the left, middle and right buttons as well as the two on the left side and the two on top. Which is fantastic for games that use a ton of hotkeys. Overall this is a great mouse, but if you’re looking for some better performance check out this next option.

Pros:

  • Great Aesthetic
  • Hand Grip
  • Long Cable

Cons:

  • Only for Right Hand

Razer DeathAdder

Our next option takes us into the realm of high-performance gaming mice and is the first step to taking gaming seriously. We’ve gone for this Razer mouse for it’s high performance and great design. First up though you might notice that it’s a little bit plain in comparison to our other options on this list so far. There is a lighting system for the mouse but it is a little bit more complicated than other mice. It requires you to download the Razer software and tweak from there. So for those who want their mouse to be nice and stylish, you’ll need to take a few more steps. But the crisp white body still looks great and that combined with the classic Deathadder shape means that this mouse still stands out. The sides of the mouse have a textured surface to help out with gripping the mouse and they feel nice to the touch.

Performance-wise this mouse is fantastic, there’s a reason that this mouse is as popular as it is. Coming in at 5.01” x 2.86” x 1.69” this is again a decently sized mouse. Using Razer’s mechanical switches for the left and right mouse buttons, it gives them a really nice tactile feel. Pressing them again and again will always feel great. The scroll wheel and the side buttons are also pretty good and make using this mouse a dream. Though you are also missing some functionality here. You don’t have any extra buttons that you could map hotkeys too. This mouse is really going to appeal to those who want nothing but straight-up performance with their mice. It’s for people who don’t really care about the aesthetic of a typical RGB lighting system.

Pros:

  • Fantastic Performance
  • Good Grip
  • Great Build Quality

Cons:

  • Requires Mandatory Software
  • Plain

Logitech G203

Our next option is another mouse that focuses on pure performance and doesn’t let much else get in the way. We’ve gone for this Logitech gaming mouse for its fantastic build quality and its performance. Again this mouse looks a little bit pain in comparison to some of our other options on this list. With the only lighting being behind the Logitech logo and the back trim on the mouse. Though it defaults to blue, you can download the Logitech software to change to color to whatever you want. Again this is an extra step and that may annoy some people. The shape of this mouse is a lot more rounded than others that we’ve seen. It’s a much more streamlined shape and this means that the mouse is going to feel a lot softer to use. Though a downside here is that there are no side grips of any kind, it’s just the body.

The size of the mouse is 1.85” x 7.56” x 5.35”, so it’s quite a bit bigger than some of the other options here and is going to fit larger hands well. In terms of functionality when you’re actually playing a game, this mouse holds up really well. With really fast response times and great feeling clicks. This mouse is a fantastic option for those who want a gaming mouse that is nice and subdued. It is a bit plain in the aesthetics department but if you can get over that it’s not so bad. Though it misses the functionality of extra programmable buttons, with only having 5. It’s still great for those who need a mouse that is simple and performs to a really high standard.

Pros:

  • Fantastic Performance
  • Great Build Quality
  • Large Size

Cons:

  • No Side Grips
  • Plain

Razer Basilisk

Our final entry on this list is a mouse that combines a lot of the features that were good about the previous entries into one peripheral. We’ve gone back to Razer for this entry with their Basilisk model for its fantastic level of performance and aesthetics. At first glance, you can already tell that this mouse has a lot more personality over the Deathadder. The RGB here is a lot more present but it’s still quite understated, it’s almost that perfect balance. Again to customize the lighting effects you’ll need to download the mandatory Razer software. The sides of the mouse are a darker grey color and feature a ridged plastic effect. Giving you a great grip on it when gaming.

This mouse also has a molded design to fit your right hand, where your thumb sits in the groove on the left side of the mouse. This does mean that it is specifically designed for right-handed users though which is disappointing for those who are not. The size of this mouse comes in at 4.89” x 2.96” x 1.69”, a pretty decent size once again. It also has multiple programmable buttons located on the side and on top that allow you to bind a few hotkeys. It also has a DPI toggle located on the front left side of the mouse for quick access to DPI changes. The performance here is fantastic, like the Deathadder before it, this mouse uses Razer’s own technology. Effectively creating a mouse that is specifically designed for gamers and allows players to perform their best. If you are looking for a mouse that is a mixture of performance, style, and ergonomics this is the one for you.

Pros:

  • Fantastic Performance
  • Ergonomic
  • Fantastic Build Quality

Cons:

  • Requires Mandatory Software

White Gaming Mouse Buying Guide

If you’ve taken a look at all of the options on this list and you still have no idea which mouse to get, don’t worry! In this section, we’ll be giving you some extra information and some helpful tips to help you out with your purchase.

Ergonomic Mice

Gaming mice are usually designed for one thing, unsurprisingly it’s gaming. But that doesn’t mean that they’re completely useless with any other computer task. In fact, gaming mice are great for all sorts of things and you should think about everything you do on a computer besides gaming. For instance, if you do a lot of graphic design or work on photoshop, you might want a mouse that is more ergonomic. Mice like the MX Master by Logitech are purely designed for ergonomic use and they’re really comfortable but they aren’t so great for gaming. So if you’re someone who does a lot of work on your PC, think about what you’ll be using the mouse for. The more work you do, the better off you’d be with an ergonomic mouse.

Wired VS Wireless

When it comes to mice, the real question comes down to whether you want a wired mouse and a wireless one. Both come with their own advantages and disadvantages, but for gaming there’s only one way to go. Wireless mice are fantastic for their portability, ease of use and the fact that there’s no cables to get in the way. You can put the mouse wherever you want without the need to have to cater for a cable. But, all wireless mice have some kind of delay with their inputs. This varies from mouse to mouse, but either way you’re going to notice it. This delay is going to seriously affect your reaction times during heated moments. Eventually you could get used to it, but for gaming it just isn’t the optimal way to play. Wired mice don’t tend to have this issue at all. Making them perfect for gaming, but then they also have their own issues too. Having to deal with a wire can be annoying and seriously has an effect on its portability.

You get what you pay for

With technology in general, you tend to get what you pay for. Going for the cheaper option on things like keyboards or mice can usually lead to a poor experience. Now there are some cheaper peripherals that you can get that do offer good performance. But most of the time it’s best to stay away from these if you want a good gaming mouse. There’s a reason that most streamers and content creators use expensive gaming mice. Simply put, they just offer a ton of performance and allow you to perform your best. But if you do want to resort to the cheaper alternatives, make sure to do plenty of research. Check reviews, find videos and check that the mouse can keep up with whatever game you want to play.

Buying Tips:

  • Keep an eye out for deals on gaming mice, Razer mice often go down to half price when they’re on sale and it’s a great deal.
  • See what mice your friends use, ask to check it out and get a firsthand look at what they have. This is one of the best ways to check out different gaming mice and get opinions from people you trust.
  • Check out any gaming or tech stores near you and see if they have any mice that you can test out. It’s a really good idea to actually know exactly what you’re getting.
  • Get a mouse that caters to the games you play. If you often play first person shooters, get a high performance wired mouse. If you’d rather play strategy games, then you can go with a more ergonomic mouse. You’d even get away with a wireless mouse in this case too.
  • If you use a laptop to game, you might prefer to have a wireless mouse. Dealing with the cord on a wired mouse might be annoying to deal with.
