Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Call Mount Guide

In previous versions of Assassin’s Creed, your mount played a critical role in your exploration efforts. the same is true in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The same is true for Odyssey as well. However, you can use the same buttons to both call for your mount as well as perform other functions. This makes it easy to get confused. But never fear, Nerds and Scoundrels has you covered!

In Odyssey, you can whistle using the down button on your direction pad. Whistling can either summon your horse or be used to distract an enemy. If a target is distracted by a whistle they are much easier to assassinate. By the way, if you aren’t sure which horse to select at the beginning of the game, we can help with that.

To call for your horse, Phobos, press and hold the down button on the directional pad. If you simply tap down you will release a short whistle designed for distracting enemies.
