Ace Combat 7 Mission 12 Stonehenge Defensive Walkthrough

When you take on Mission 12 in Ace Combat 7, you’ll need to defend Stonehenge while Major McOnie is getting things up and running. Ace Combat 7 Mission 12 Walkthrough

As the mission begins, you will fly over Stonehenge while Major McOnie explains she needs you to buy her as much time as possible. Pull it off, and her plan may just take down the Arsenal Bird.

In the beginning, you can focus entirely on taking out the ground forces. There is little resistance in the beginning, and you can take out a large portion of the ground forces immediately.

Soon enough, bombers will show up. They aren’t difficult to kill, but you’ll want to dispatch them as quickly as possible as one good bombing run can take out Stonehenge.

Listen to the radio chatter; it’s more than just idle talk. You’ll get warnings from ground forces that are in danger of being overrun. Always to respond to any ground unit that even hints they need air support. Choosing a plane with long-range missiles is always a good choice, as being able to clear bombers off of Stonehenge from across the battlefield is useful. Keep Stonehenge alive for long enough, and McOnie will let you know they’re almost ready.

The Arsenal Bird

Almost on queue, the Arsenal Bird will show up. The Stonehenge weapon is primed and ready to slay the Arsenal Bird – until the sensor ship it relies on is shot down. The weapon is useless, so it’s up to you to take down the Arsenal Bird. Target the propellers, which will slow the Arsenal Bird down. Once you take out enough propellers, the Stonehenge weapon will be able to fire on the Arsenal Bird. Sit back and enjoy your handy work.
