Where to Farm Leather in Palworld
You have a lot of options on leather farming locations, as the Pals that give you leather are pretty common. That said, the best spot in the early game can be found just to the west of Grassy Behemoth Hills. Watch for Melpacas and Foxparks, and see the map below for a general location.
Once you find your target, it is a good idea to maximize your return by having the right equipment on hand. Using the Hunting Rifle or Hunting Knife gives you a chance for bonus loot each time you kill, which can speed up the amount of farming time you need to spend.
Where Can I Buy Leather?
The cheapest and easiest way to get leather in Palworld is to farm it, but you do have another option early on. You can buy leather from the merchant in the Small Settlement near the starter area. However, this will run you 150 gold each, which can add up pretty quickly. Still, it’s a handy option to have in a pinch!
What do I do with the Leather?
Leather is an important part of crafting in Palworld. You can use it to make a variety of things in the game, from armor to saddles. It can be time-intensive to find what you need since there is no way to passively obtain it in the game.
Of course, you’re probably going to get to a point where you’ve got more leather than you need. Farming leather isn’t the most lucrative thing in the game, but you can generally make some coin from selling the leather you’ve got. Remember: the sale price can fluctuate based on supply and demand, so dumping a bunch at once can impact the price.
