Once you complete Mission 1, you’ll see a series of news reports regarding the declaration of a new war based on the recent attacks. Among the news clips is a story regarding Erusea seizing control of the International Space Elevator. The Space Elevator is a critical asset, and it’s your job to take it back. Ace Combat 7 Mission 2 Walkthrough

Unlike Mission 1, the second mission involves air-based as well as land-based hostiles. You will have to take out a ground convoy early and then maintain air superiority afterward.

Even if you’re able to afford a new plane from the skill tree, you can complete this with your trusty F-16C.

Destroy the Ground Facilities

To begin, take out the anti-radar vehicles in the convoy. You will also need to destroy the anti-aircraft guns. However, you must be careful not to harm any civilians or damage any public, non-military structures.

After the ground targets are destroyed, hostile aircraft will be inbound. Initially, there will be three hostiles to respond to. Take them out, then continue clearing the ground targets at the airfield.

Much of the combat will take place in the clouds in this mission. It’s important to note that cloud cover can reduce the effectiveness of your missiles tracking abilities. You’ll also need to be careful of ice formation in the clouds. Defeat another wave of hostiles and destroy the final radar vehicle to continue with the mission.

Air Superiority

Once you clear most of the hostiles, you’ll get a short cutscene where five drones are launched into the sky. These drones have high maneuverability. You will need to execute High-G turns to take them down. Beware of stalling! Kill all five drones and the mission is over.
