Spiderman The Heist Trail of the Cat
Our mission begins as you follow the trail of Black Cat to the rooftop above a crime scene. You notice police everywhere, and a security is injured on a stretcher. You wonder what happened here, and who better to ask than the EMT working on the injured guard? The guard is unhurt other than a flash burn on his corneas that he will recover from. Travel to the back side of the building, and you will discover magnesium blast marks at the back door. Analyze the substances to get a clue on where she went. The correct sequence is below:
Follow the Trail
Once that is done, you can follow her trail up to the top of the building. Follow her trail across several roofs until you see two Maggia goons in an alley, apparently beaten up. You will land at their feet just in time for five more thugs to show up and assume you were the one that KO’d their pals. Finish them off and keep following the trail until you come on some of Hammerhead’s guys in an alley.
When you arrive, you will notice a van that with several bad guys milling around. After you have MJ run the plate of the van, you will witness a Hammerhead boss come down hard on a thug who was supposed to deliver the data drive. (Want to know who owns the van? see our walkthrough of the mission Newsflash) The boss is enraged that his underling only delivered the hollowed-out book with no drive inside. As the boss tells him that he “knows what happens next,” you intervene.
There are about a dozen bad guys in the alley, including two or three heavies that you’ll need to take out quickly. Use your electric web to neutralize the big guys quickly and from there its easy to clear out the rest of them. Once you clear out the last of them, you can hand over the book to the cops as the mission completes.
