A healthy selection of animals is necessary to really get that score up.
Offer Audio Tours
One easy way to help your guests learn about the animals is by offering audio tours. When your guests purchase these tours, they automatically learn about the animals without needing anything else from you. While many guests will not opt for the tours, setting them to the lowest possible price can dramatically increase the number of takers.
Post Educational Boards and Speakers
Your bread and butter, at least in the early game, will be posting educational boards and speakers near animal exhibits. You should put boards and speakers related to the animals in the nearby exhibit, allowing guests that pass near them to learn from them. Be sure that the speaker sound radius does not overlap with other nearby speakers, as guests hate that.
Remember how each guest can only learn about a single animal once? One way to get more out of these boards is selecting general information boards as opposed to those linked to a specific animal. the boost your get from these general boards is much less, but you can get a bonus from multiple boards for a single guest. Place these near the front entrance to get the most out of them.
Hire an Educator
As Planet Zoo continues to expand, your options for increasing your education rating grow with it. One of the newer innovations is a new staff member dedicated to the job of teaching your guests: the educator. The educator can perform what are known as Animal Talks. Just like at real zoos, these educators gather guests around a specific exhibit and teach them about one of the animals within. In some cases, they might even feed the animals.
These staffers essentially function the same as educational boards near an animal exhibit, so why bother use them? The answer is that one of these Animal Talk points can increase your education level far more than a host of boards can. It’s a tradeoff between hiring a new staff but not having to plaster the park with tons of generic boards.
